"Still Freddy, but shiny"
- Toy Freddy's loading message
Toy Freddy is an animatronic first starring in FNaF 2 as one of the main antagonists, and returning in FNaF 3 as part of the box of scrapped animatronics.
Toy Freddy is one of the eight starter characters in FNaF World, the others being Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, and Chica.
Appearance |
Toy Freddy looks like Freddy from FNaF 1, but with a wider design and a softened, shiny look. His snout is shorter and his top hat has a red stripe. He has ten teeth, red round cheeks, and dots that look like whiskers. Unlike his FNaF2 version, Toy Freddy has a regular jaw like regular Freddy, rather than one resembling a ventriloquist dummy.
In FNaF World |
Toy Freddy serves as one of the eight pre-unlocked characters in FNAF World. Along with the team from FNaF 2 (Excluding Balloon Boy, JJ, and Marionette), and the team from FNaF 1.
Role In Game |
He is a playable character in the game from the very beginning. He's not as good as Freddy (FNaF 1) at attacks but instead heals and boosts the team's statuses. Toy Freddy could be considered a "Supporter" party member as opposed to Freddy, whom is more of a "Fighter".
The most important attack Toy Freddy wields is Speed Song. Players should try and use Speed Song as much as possible with this character as this decreases the time between your party's attacks, which makes Toy Freddy a perfect teammate for the party members who hit hard but slow (Characters Like Freddy or Bonnie). The Speed buff does allow Toy Freddy to be useful throughout the early game, especially with high-damaging partners, but eventually he will be replaced by characters who do much more damage, including Endo-02 who also has Speed Song.
As for the damage power, Toy Freddy provides two options. His Mic Toss is the first and best choice. It deals a fair amount to a single target, however it quickly becomes more useless as the player captures higher-level animatronics with better firepower, which is true for every other starter character anyways. The second option is Party Favors, which deals low damage to all enemies and heals your party a little. This attack is barely ever useful, except when a little more healing is needed... maybe. Comparing to the Mic Toss, Party Favors can barely reach the same amount of total damage (on average) when all 4 enemies are present. Therefore, this attack is ignored by most players.
In conclusion,Toy Freddy is a decent early game support/buff character that should (like almost every starter character) be replaced by other stronger characters. He can be partnered with a stronger team if that team needs speed, but that generally doesn't last very long.
Toy Freddy has three attacks:
Deals fair damage to a single enemy
Deals very low damage to all enemies and heals the party a little bit
Gives the party a temporary Speed buff |
